Nicolas Capozzoli won 3rd prize at the 2017 Canadian International Organ Competition, 1st prize at the 2015 Taylor Organ Competition, and other prizes. He performs throughout North America and Europe, and is equally versatile as a harpsichordist and chamber musician. He holds degrees in musicology (McGill University) and historical performance (Oberlin Conservatory of Music). He is dedicated to researching the music of women and marginalized composers; his doctoral dissertation focused specifically on the life and music of French violinist and composer Claire Delbos (1906-1959). Capozzoli is currently Director of Music at Christ Church Cathedral in Montreal and Director of Chapel Music at Montreal Diocesan Theological College.
