At the age of 23, Olivier Latry became one of the titular organists at Notre-Dame-de Paris. However, as of April 15, 2019, he can no longer play the famous Cavaillé-Coll organ as the roof of the cathedral caught fire that night and the organ was also damaged.
The good news is that it will be possible to save it! In the meantime, the multi-award-winning Latry has enough to do: Organ class at the Conservatoire National Supérieur, and his concert schedule is always full with engagements all over the world.
